It has been 24 years since our modest beginning at Patna, Bihar.

As on date, Bihar Burn & Trauma Research Center Pvt. Ltd. (BBTRC) humbly stands as India’s largest Super Specialized & Exclusively for Burns (Management, Treatment, Rehabilitation & Research) Organization.

It is a result of 35 long and rewarding years of experience of Dr. K. N. Tiwary MBBS, MCh (Plastic Surgery) in treating over 8700 patients suffering from burns of all types and magnitude.

BBTRC currently has Four of (Noida, Patna, Bilaspur & Darbhanga ) of the best and few super specialized units for the treatment of Burn Injuries; Post Burn Deformity & Contractures; Reconstructive & Plastic Surgery.

These units cumulatively account for about 85 Burn Beds across 4 centers currently. This is possibly the largest number of Beds that any single organisation has ever provided in the world, exclusively for the treatment of Burns.

Hair Transplant

Hair transplantation is a surgical technique that involves moving individual hair follicles from one part of the body (the donor site) to bald or balding parts (the recipient site). It is primarily used to treat male pattern baldness, whereby grafts containing hair follicles that are genetically resistant to balding are transplanted to bald scalp.

However, it is also used to restore eyelashes, eyebrows, beard hair, chest hair, and pubic hair and to fill in scars caused by accidents or surgery such as face-lifts and previous hair transplants.

Hair transplantation differs from skin grafting in that grafts contain almost all of the epidermis and dermis surrounding the hair follicle, and many tiny grafts are transplanted rather than a single strip of skin.

Also nose job, is a plastic surgery procedure for correcting and reconstructing the form, restoring the functions, and aesthetically enhancing the nose, by resolving nasal trauma (blunt, penetrating, blast), congenital defect, respiratory impediment, and a failed primary rhinoplasty.

Also known as lipoplasty (“fat modeling”), liposculpture suction lipectomy or simply lipo (“suction-assisted fat removal”) is a cosmetic surgery operation that removes fat from many different sites on the human body. Areas affected can range from the abdomen, thighs and buttocks, to the neck, backs of the arms and elsewhere. Several factors limit the amount of fat that can be safely removed in one session. Ultimately, the operating physician and the patient make the decision.

Breast Augmentation

A breast implant is a prosthesis used to alter the size, form, and feel of a woman’s breasts in post–mastectomy breast reconstruction; for correcting chest wall congenital deformities; for breast augmentation (aesthetic enhancement); and as a procedural aspect of male-to-female gender transition surgery.

Cleft Lip & Palate

Cleft lip (cheiloschisis) and cleft palate (palatoschisis), which can also occur together as cleft lip and palate, are variations of a type of clefting congenital deformity caused by abnormal facial development during gestation. A cleft is a fissure or opening—a gap. It is the non-fusion of the body’s natural structures that form before birth. Approximately 1 in 700 children born have a cleft lip and/or a cleft palate. Clefts can also affect other parts of the face, such as the eyes, ears, nose, cheeks, and forehead. A cleft lip or palate can be successfully treated with surgery.
